The hefty lefty had minor knee surgery.

With the Giants taking a commanding 2-0 lead in the World Series, the Rangers are looking at a must-win game 3 at home with fantasy baseball suprise Colby Lewis on the mound.  While these two teams are still playing into late October, the other 28 teams are left waiting for spring training.  With the fantasy baseball playoffs soon coming to an end, FBS will continue to provide you with news and information on all things MLB.

CC Sabathia, SP New York Yankees

Despite the Yankees getting knocked out in the ALCS, their ace remains in the news as Sabathia underwent surgery Friday morning to repair a minor meniscus tear in his right knee.  (more…)
