Matt Kemp has hit well this June.
The best bats in the National League so far this season have slowed up a bit lately, but still have opposing pitchers working around them. Matt Kemp and Prince Fielder are not hitting long balls every game like they were a week ago, but they still have respect at the plate. Creeping up are a few new players who would like to steal the top spot in the NL as the season wears on into the summer. These are the best bats in the National League as on June 19th.
1) Matt Kemp – LAD (Last Week: 2)
Matt Kemp has been hitting a ton all month long. Although his power has declined over the past week, he has still managed to hit .400 for the month of June, an impressive feat. (more…)

Prince Fielder has been on fire in June.
Prince Fielder and Matt Kemp have been absolutely stellar over the first half of June. They have opposing pitchers scared to throw the ball near the plate as these guys keep depositing souvenirs to the outfield bleachers. Look for their respective teams to heat up as their bats stay hot, and watch what some of the other fine offensive players are doing for their clubs. These are the National League power rankings as on June 12th.
1) Prince Fielder – MIL (Last Week: 8)
Fielder has been on an absolute tear, and has quickly become the kind of player opposing pitchers are just going to want to avoid. In just 11 games in June, Fielder has homered 8 times and driven in 16 RBIs, contributing to his now league-leading 58 RBIs on the season. (more…)

Matt Kemp is off to a fine start of June.
June has begun, and the Major League Baseball season will head into the dog days of summer. As the weather starts to heat up, so have some of the finest players the National League has to offer. Some players wish May had offered a few more chances, while some just assume forget the second month of the season and move on. These are the best bats in the National League as of June 5th.
1) Matt Kemp – LAD (Last Week: 5)

Joey Votto has had a productive May.
May has not been kind to the players that have frequented the top of these charts over the past few weeks. No one in the top 6 on this list has hit above .300 this month, which is not good news for fantasy baseball owners. However, some have fallen harder than others. Good players can hit a hot streak and put up impressive numbers. It takes the best players to drive through their slump and continue to produce for their team. This is a list of the best bats in the National League as of May 22.
1) Joey Votto – CIN (Last Week: 6)
The MVP is playing well for the Cincinnati Reds. While his numbers are not as good as they were in the first month of the season, he has endured and still played a solid month of May, unlike many of the National League’s hottest hitters. (more…)

Matt Holliday takes over Berkman as #1 in NL Power Rankings.
A quarter of way through the MLB season, and some of the National League’s best are proving that they have the most productive bats in the league, while others were sad to see April go. The NL Central hosts a bevy of MVP candidates, while NL East stars are beginning to battle for the division crown early on in the season, and a few stars out west are refusing to quiet down. This is a list of the best hitters in Fantasy Baseball for the National League as of May 15th.
1) Matt Holliday – STL (Last Week: 2)
Matt Holliday of the St. Louis Cardinals just keeps on hitting. In his 34 games played this season, Holliday has managed multiple hits 16 times. (more…)
