Perhaps you’re just looking to inject some new life into your lineup and ride a hot hand. Here at FBS, our risers and fallers detail the guys that are heating up and those that are cooling down, so you can outsmart all of the owners in your league.
Risers
1.Buster Posey, C/1B, San Francisco: The Giants simply couldn’t keep his bat in the minors any longer. Posey was called up last week and has certainly shown he belongs. He’s currently sporting a line of .450/1/6 in 40 Abs including seven multi-hit games in his last twelve. He also just hit his first homer Wednesday night, so he could be finding his groove. He’s had no problem adjusting to big-league pitching and doesn’t belong on any waiver wire at this point. Make sure he’s not available in your league, but if he is, scoop him up immediately, pat yourself on the back, and enjoy the ride. This kid’s for real. (more…)
