2012 Fantasy Baseball: Baltimore Orioles Fantasy Outlook

Thursday, March 8th, 2012

What do the birds have this year in fantasy?

Baltimore will have an uphill climb from the basement of the AL East in 2012. When you play in the same division as New York, Boston and Tampa, the chances of them finishing in the top three of that division are slim at best.

The Orioles don’t have many appealing fantasy options in 2012. SS J.J. Hardy hit 30 HR last season but has seen his share of time dealing with injuries. None of them are serious, but they are the day-to-day types that cost him an average of 50 games a season. Baltimore Orioles Sign Vladimir Guerrero: Fantasy Baseball Impact

Wednesday, February 9th, 2011

Guerrero should produce nicely with the O's.

He, along with Mark Reynolds and Derrek Lee, will provide more protection for the younger hitters in the lineup. Fantasy Baseball

Beltre should give the Rangers some power.

Even though we are still about five weeks away from pitchers and catchers reporting for Spring Training, there is plenty of off-season fantasy baseball news that will have an affect on the 2011 fantasy baseball season.

Where will Manny be Manny next season? He is still looking for a team, along with Carl Pavano, Vladimir Guerrero, Johnny Damon, and Brad Penny. However, one premier free agent has found a home and will be playing in a division next season that he has spent ample time within before.

Adrian Beltre to Sign With Texas Rangers

Adrian Beltre is expected to sign a multiyear deal with the Texas Rangers soon and will return to the AL West where he played five seasons with the Seattle Mariners. This is definitely an interesting move for all parties involved and there are fantasy implications for more than just Beltre with this signing. (more…)
