Fantasy Baseball Sportal announces our All-Star teams!
The All-Star Game is rapidly approaching, and with that comes all of the speculation involved. Who deserves to play first base for the stacked American League? Who will fill the outfield in the National League? Adrian Gonzalez continues to roll over the opposition.
While the Red Sox have not fared too well in their past 6 games, it has not slowed down the bat of Adrian Gonzalez, who continues to put up a show for all of baseball to see. He leads a slew of powerful first basemen, a group that the American League All-Star club may not be able to carry with all of the depth. Who will be the snub? Only time will tell. These are the American League Power Rankings as on June 27th.
1) Adrian Gonzalez – BOS (Last Week: 1)
Adrian Gonzalez is now leading the American League in hitting, with a batting average of .361, and RBIs, with an astounding total of 71. At this pace, the Red Sox star is on pace to win the batting title and knock in around 150 runs. (more…)

Curtis Granderson's bat is on fire with 11 home runs already
A new week means new guys have the potential to land on the “Who’s Hot and Who’s Not” list. The 2011 season has been an interesting one so far in fantasy baseball, and the players on the list below have helped contribute in making this season a good one (or a bad one for some…) so far. Read below to see which players have been “Hot” and which players have been “Not” over the past week.
Fantasy Baseball Who’s Hot Week 5
Curtis Granderson, NYY OF
As a team, the Bronx Bombers have launched 54 home runs in 2011, thanks in large part to the bat of Curtis Granderson. The slender outfielder has 11 home runs already and he shows no signs of slowing down. (more…)

The AL East is loaded with talent...as always.
When talking baseball, the discussion often starts and ends with the American League East, winners of nine of the last 18 World Series. Throw in what some call the greatest rivalry in sports, and the AL East is an incredibly dynamic division. On one hand the division is filled with enough talent to fill an All-Star fantasy roster. On the other hand, the fans of the division can be very prideful, to a fault. So if you’re in a league with a Red Sox or Yankee fan, know that those players are likely to go way to early. With that in mind, here’s the AL East preview. (more…)

Longoria has not only taken the top spot, but he is starting to pull away!
Continuing with the rankings for the upcoming fantasy baseball season I will talk about the Third Base position. Third Base is a position filled with talented players, but does not compare to the strength there is at First Base. There are some young players who are already fantasy studs that could improve this upcoming season and also the return of Kevin Youkilis to the position strengthens the crop. (more…)
