Bailey has been brilliant thus far.
There isn’t much to complain about this week when it comes to closers performances over the last week. With only six blown saves for the entire MLB over the last seven days, let’s just say, its nitpicking time. This week it was very difficult to separate an A from a D, let alone a B. If your closer gave up more than one hit look down the list, if he gave up a run, ha, look waaay down the list. (more…)
These rankings are based on a 300 point system, 150 for offensive production and 150 for pitching production. 30 points (1 point for each team) is the most points any team can receive in a given category. For instance, if the Rays lead the league in HR’s they will get 30 points for that category.

Dotel is a man on a mission.
This was a big week for the A-group. With just three players making the cut, they account for 14 saves.
Even with that excitement, Carlos Marmol makes the list for me, his K:BB ratio is now at 77:27 after an impressive 11 K’s for the week. At this pace he could easily finish in the top-20 K’s…and he is only asked to pitch one inning on most occasions! (more…)
