Adrian Gonzalez continues to roll over the opposition.
While the Red Sox have not fared too well in their past 6 games, it has not slowed down the bat of Adrian Gonzalez, who continues to put up a show for all of baseball to see. He leads a slew of powerful first basemen, a group that the American League All-Star club may not be able to carry with all of the depth. Who will be the snub? Only time will tell. These are the American League Power Rankings as on June 27th.
1) Adrian Gonzalez – BOS (Last Week: 1)
Adrian Gonzalez is now leading the American League in hitting, with a batting average of .361, and RBIs, with an astounding total of 71. At this pace, the Red Sox star is on pace to win the batting title and knock in around 150 runs. (more…)

Matt Kemp has been dominating the National League
As the All-Star game comes closer and closer, the National League’s finest are showing that they belong on the summer’s biggest stage. Whether it is cracking home runs or just getting on base, this week’s National League Power Rankings feature the most productive players in the league, many of whom will represent the NL All-Star club. With Albert Pujols out, there are many questions as to who will fill in at first base, and there are plenty of other positions up for grabs. These are the National League Power Rankings as of June 26th.
1) Matt Kemp – LAD (Last Week: 1)
Matt Kemp is a having a stellar month of June, even as the Dodgers have faltered. His average for the month now stands at .368, and he has hit 8 homers and knocked in 20 runs, despite his Los Angeles club going 9-14 this month. (more…)

Talk about draft day values
At 35 years of age, Can Paul Konerko actually win the AL MVP trophy? He’s certainly been playing like he should win it. Today, Konerko is batting .327 with 21 homers, 59 RBI and 39 runs. We aren’t even at the All-Star break yet, so he definitely looks to be on pace for a 30-35+ home run year, again! Talk about draft day value. I snagged this guy in round 5 of my fantasy baseball draft. Now I know round 5 might not seem like a big bargain round, but when your round 5 pick is putting up numbers like a round 1 pick player should be, he’s a bargain. (more…)

Adrian Gonzalez has led the Red Sox to a great month of June.
Adrian Gonzalez and the Red Sox have been red hot in June so far, putting up some crooked numbers in the box score. The Sox are finally playing like many of the experts predicted that they would, and it has been scary for the opposition. When the All-Star game arrives on July 12th, the American League squad could very well be dominated by the always popular Boston club. These are the American League Power Rankings as of June 20th.
1) Adrian Gonzalez – BOS (Last Week: 1)
Gonzalez and the Red Sox are on a roll. In June, they have only lost 3 games, and they have had 6 games in which their offense has scored 10+ runs. The reason? (more…)

Matt Kemp has hit well this June.
The best bats in the National League so far this season have slowed up a bit lately, but still have opposing pitchers working around them. Matt Kemp and Prince Fielder are not hitting long balls every game like they were a week ago, but they still have respect at the plate. Creeping up are a few new players who would like to steal the top spot in the NL as the season wears on into the summer. These are the best bats in the National League as on June 19th.
1) Matt Kemp – LAD (Last Week: 2)
Matt Kemp has been hitting a ton all month long. Although his power has declined over the past week, he has still managed to hit .400 for the month of June, an impressive feat. (more…)
